This little novella not only gifts us with not just one story but two. Perfect "moment in time" stories to sneak in between the longer novels, to refresh the pallet. I liked how this twosome was paired with two different genre's giving us a completely different feel.Science Fiction Romance: Mated By The Cyborg, tells the story of a 25-year-old botanist Kimi Wilson and the half-human, half-machine security specialist. Kimi is chosen to be one of the few scientist who is sent back down to Earth to research the native plant life, but Earth is not the same as it use to be. Fierce warriors run free and Lee 5 is just the man to protect them. Kimi enjoys the freedom she has and indulges when needed, and at the moment she indulges with the unfeeling cyborg... or so she thinks. There may be more to this cyborg than meets the eye.
Trouble is a fun saucy read, with a take-what-ya-want kinda girl and a sexy bartender. They give in to their lust on the first night, but there is no repeats. Lexi has never broken a rule no matter how tempting Duke is, no matter how her body refuses any other advances that she normally would be reveling in. Soon enough the tension will break, she just isn't sure she's ready for more trouble...
They both were fun, interesting reads, ones you gotta take as is and not expect more. Personally I enjoyed Trouble a wee bit more than Mated By The Cyborg, most likely because there were more feelings on both sides that were explored :)

Frequent awkward phrasing made this hard to read. At least one wrong word was used. I was expecting something on the level of Dreaming of electric Love. Maybe this is an earlier work. It has the same free book included as the story previously mentioned though.

I actually really liked this. It was fairly developed well and was believable. What I didn't like was the end. I wanted a more of a HEA for them. Just ended after they had a tryst pretty much. They didn't talk much really and I wanted more of a relationship between the 2. If I didn't know better I would have thought it was a series since it ended the way it did. Didn't seem complete.
Mated By A Cyborg is a short story of humans living on another planet called Venora because earth has been uninhabited for close to a thousand years. They have a good life living within a dome however they have to wear spacesuits outside of the dome. Some humans have been made into Cyborg so they are part machines part human. Mimi had a desire to explore a Cyborg body - one in particular who was very handsome...
The story evolves along these lines and the author, Olivia Myers, writes with the expertise she is so well known for.
I wasn't quite sure what to think of a Science Fiction Romance when I first downloaded it but this far surpassed my expectations. Very well written and easy to read. The author is engaging and knows how to creat a true relationship with the characters and audience. I highly recommend this book to any romance fan out there.

The Cyborg story that is listed is only about half of this book, not that it gives us any indication of that. And it's not very good. It is juvenile and simplistic. Not at all what I expected. I was definitely disappointed. The second story is not a sci-fi one but it is very enjoyable. It is a romance, and a good one. So I guess it is worth buying for that.
Kimi is a botanist who loves talking to her plants, and Lee5 is a Cyborg assigned to protect a team of scientists sent to Earth to collect samples... but a small ship, and a little spare time gives Kimi a chance to try getting to know the first Cyborg she has ever met.
A fun light read with some enjoyable world building, I think I will look to see if the author has done more with these humans who live in a done away from a recovering Earth as I enjoyed my stay in the Universe she created.
